I never played rugby before college, but once I joined, I realized that the Penn State Rugby team is a family that lasts forever. It is my goal to help PSU Rugby players, parents, and friends of the program stay connected for a lifetime and to encourage support to the current program to give players the elite experience they deserve.”

Meet the Coaches
Justin Hundley, Men’s Head Coach
Justin Hundley has served as the Head Coach of Penn State Men’s Rugby since 2017. After graduating from Penn State himself in 2007, he was the Assistant Coach at The United States Military Academy, West Point from 2007-2012. From 2012-2017, he was the Xavier High School NYC Assistant Director of Athletics and Head JV Rugby Coach. He received the PSU Rugby Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 and was the Collegiate All-American Assistant Coach in 2019. In his playing career, Justin was a five-year starter at Penn State, including two Final Four appearances and representing the USA U19 National Team in 2003. He represented the Collegiate All-Americans in 15s and 7s in 2006-2007, the USA 7’s Eagles in 2006-2008, and was a National Champion with the NYAC in 2008 and 2015.
Kate Daley, Women’s Head Coach
Kate Daley started coaching Penn State Women's Rugby in the Fall of 2014. After graduating from Penn State in 2009 as a 4-year All-American, Kate was Head Coach at University of Notre Dame from 2010-2013. She was the US National Team Captain at the 2014 Rugby World Cup in France and a US National Team player from 2009-2017 (International Caps 22). Kate served as the Girls HSAA Assistant Coach in 2015 and the USA U20 Assistant Coach in 2015 and 2018. She has been the USA Women's National Team Assistant Coach from 2018-present. She received the Penn State Rugby Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015 and has coached Penn State Women's Rugby to three 15s National Championships (2015, 2016, 2017) and one 7s National Championship in 2015. In her playing career, Kate won two 15s National Championships with Penn State in 2007 and 2009 and was awarded Co-MVP of the 2009 National Championship.

Our Working Groups
Each Director serves as the coordinator of a working group, and is free to invite others to participate as committee members. Those committee members are non-voting members of the Board, but are integral to the Booster Club’s success.
